The Lord in His wisdom has taken from us our Dear husband, father, father-in-law and grandfather.
Cornelius Van Hoepen passed away on January 27th, 2010 at his home at age 76 years. He was born on July 19th, 1933 in Kapelle Biezelinge, the Netherlands.
Cornelius is survived by his wife Lena, John (Willy), Marianne, Frank (Diana), Jacqueline, Eugene, Bryan (Arenda) and grandchildren Jalene, Darren, Annamarie, Janine, Cornelius, Jonathan, Corné, Marlayna, Willam, Janna, Emma, Emily, Danielle, Alisa, Brianna, Calvin, Jacob, Hannah, and Malia, also survived by other family members in Canada, United States and the Netherlands.
He was predeceased by his parents Johannes and Jacoba Van Hoepen, parents-in-law Floris and Maria Bestebreur, brothers Marius, John, Andre, sisters Janna, Jaan, Maatje, and two infant siblings.
Opportunity for condolences for family and friends will be held at the family home on Monday, February 1st 2010 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 2nd 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from the Bethel Netherlands Reformed Church. Burial to follow at the Chilliwack Cemeteries.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to “Come Over and Help.”
