Coleen Mary Korbeld

July 14, 1958 - July 29, 2021
Coleen was born In Halifax, moving around Canada to various places before landing in Chilliwack in the early 70's. Coleen met Ed and they were married in 1980. Coleen was a loving mother of 4 with a zest for life and a passion for helping others.
She spent many years volunteering in the church and the community, using her creativity and artistic skills creating elaborate sets for plays, and decorating weddings. She enjoyed golf, curling, traveling and spending time with family and friends. She was deeply loved by family and friends and the impact she has left will be felt far and wide.
Coleen passed away July 29th after a brief battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband Ed of 41 years; her 4 children: Shereen Ens (Chris), Joel Korbeld, Owen Korbeld (Katelyn), and Paul Korbeld (April); Father: George Parent; Sisters: Carmen Rotella, Carol Peters (Bob) and Denise Parent; and 3 grandchildren: Alex Ens, Chloe Ens, and Edward Korbeld.
A celebration of life is planned for August 7th, 1 pm at the Chilliwack Curling Club. In lieu of flowers, the family would encourage donations to be made in honor of Coleen to a local charity such as: Ruth and Naomi's Mission or Ann Davis Transition Society.
