Clifford Stanley Cheek passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 18, 2008 at the age of 83 years. He was born July 30, 1925 in Elnora, Alberta.
Cliff will be sadly missed by his wife Iris; children, Joyce (Loyd), Stan (Adelle) and Nancy (Ed); stepdaughter, Heather; brother, Gordon (Doreen) and good friend, Gail. Cliff will also be missed by his five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and good friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Oscar and Mary Cheek, son, Kevin Cheek and stepson Randy Innes.
Cliff was a long-time resident of Chilliwack. The family owned and operated a hardware store and heating business. Cliff went on to work for the Federal Penitentiary Service and retired in 1995. Cliff was happiest when busy – whether it be reading, fishing, camping or being creative in his wood working shop.
There will be no service by request.
