Claude Sylvian KOSMAN

Born on May 29, 1914 in St. Norbert, Manitoba.

Claude passed away on July 7, 2007 in Chilliwack, BC. Claude grew up in St. Adolphe, MB with a big family on a vegetable farm. In the 60’s Claude and his wife Christel moved to Langley, BC, where he bought and ran a pool hall business.

Then in the 70’s, he moved to Chilliwack and set up a rental business and with his previous farming experience, he rototilled gardens on the side.

Claude had the most beautiful flower and vegetable gardens with the biggest vegetables you ever saw.

Claude’s hobby was curling. He joined a curling league and played for many years and made many friends.

Claude was a devoted loving husband to his wife, Christel, whom is in the Bradley Centre since 2001, he would sit by her bedside nearly everyday and hold her hands. The past few years Claude lived at the Lynnwood Place and enjoyed the company of friends playing cards, pool, bingo and other activities that were offered.

Claude will be deeply missed by his surviving brothers: Charlie and Edgar; sisters: Rose, Mae and Faye; along with lots of nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends.
