MORFORD; Clarence Gordon. Gord Morford passed away on August 30, 2013 at Chilliwack Hospital at the age of 89. He was born in 1923 in Chilliwack and in 1942 enlisted in the Canadian Army, serving in Canada, United Kingdom, Continental Europe and the North Pacific Area and was awarded the France Germany Star. Gord was a carpenter, a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge and loved fishing. He was predeceased by his brother Ernie and wife Grace and leaves to mourn, sisters Elaine Burns and Eileen Wenn. Thank you to the staff of Cascade Lodge for your care of Gord. A celebration of his life will be held at 7:00 pm on Monday, October 7th at the Elks Lodge, 104A-8645 Young St. Chilliwack.
