In Loving Memory ~

Born in Chilliwack April 12, 1937, to his parents George & Gwladys Watson, he peacefully passed on April 18, 2025, at the Cascade Hospice.

Chris was a retired certified Plumber & Gas Fitter; he dedicated his services to Harpers Sheet Metal (Welch Plumbing) before branching out in 1979 with his own business "Watson's Heating & Plumbing" servicing the residents and businesses of Chilliwack and the surrounding area for the next 30 years. Wherever you traveled with Chris in Chilliwack there was always a friendly face greeting him as well as stories he would tell of the various buildings he serviced.

Chris loved to travel with his wife Ina, they very often met up with his in-laws Andrea & Gordy as well as various family and friends. Mexico, Hawaii, New Orleans, Las Vegas, the Panama Canal, Scotland to name a few. Chris also enjoyed playing golf and was a former member of Cheam Mountain Golf Course.

Chris was predeceased by his beloved wife Ina, sister Joan, brother Jack, stepsons Robbie, David and Grandson Robert.

Chris is survived by his stepchildren Lauri, Heather & Susan, daughter-in-law Kathy, grandchildren Kenneth, Steven, Brandon, Launa, Leah, Matthew, Kyle, Anna, Katrina, Jenna & Rebecca as well as 11 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend their thanks to Dr. David Esau, the staff and Nurses at C.G.H. 4 North, the Chilliwack Cascade Hospice, Diane and the various family members for their dedication to ensuring his final weeks were full of loving care.

The family will be dedicating a bench to Chris & Ina at the Kinsmen Park off Portage Ave. which includes a lovely view of their home, Mt Cheam, and where his stepson Robbie's bench can also be found close by.
