It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of Christine Ann Jessiman, on December 5, 2011, at home, with her loving and caring family by her side.
Christine was always a source of strength and comfort to her family, always cheerful and friendly, and an ideal role model. Her pride in her family was unwavering, and her inner strength shone through when she faced life’s challenges. Throughout her life, and even with acute kidney failure in her last weeks, Christine demonstrated clarity, courage, wit, serenity, and grace.
Christine leaves a strong, loving and blessed family – husband Ken, of 62 years; son Kenneth Christopher and grandson Scott; daughter Laurie Ann MacAdams and grandson Jeffrey; sister Lexy Ellen Whittaker; niece Diane (Pat) Shaw and family; nephew Rick (Wendy) Whittaker and family; nephew Doug Jessiman and family; niece Paisley (DJ) Thurm; and niece Kelty (Keith) Nelson. Christine was predeceased by her granddaughter Andrea MacAdams and niece Lee Hale.
Christine also leaves many wonderful friends with whom she shared many travels and special occasions.

All are invited to a ‘Celebration of Life’ for Christine on Saturday, December 17, 2011, at 2:00 pm, at the Coast Hotel in Chilliwack, 45920 First Avenue.
