Passed into the presence of her Father in Heaven on September 26, 2018 at Penticton General Hospital. Christie was born in Chilliwack on March 30, 1974. Christie's long, painful arduous journey began after a stem cell transplant as a result of acute lymphoblastic leukemia in 2012. Christie is survived by her parents, Gary and Linda Johnson of Chilliwack, husband Richard, son Caleb and daughter Jillian of Penticton and many extended family.
Christie graduated from Chilliwack Senior Secondary and continued her studies to become a professional Music Therapist in both Chilliwack and Penticton. Christie taught music in her home and was a major influence in many young people's lives. She was loved by all who knew her. She had an infectious smile, effervescent personality, wonderful demeanor and the spirit of Jesus reverberated through all she did.
Celebration of Life for Christie will be held in the Penticton Alliance Church on Friday, October 5, @ 1:00 pm.
