Christa passed away on March 4, 2019 at Chilliwack Hospital at the age of 79. She was born May 14, 1939 in Berlin Germany.
Christa is survived by her son Gordon (Bernadette), brother Jurgen (Monika) Arndt, grandchildren Christina and Erica, and niece Jacqueline and son Jens. She was predeceased by her brother Peter Arndt. Christa suffered from M.S. most her life, she determinately fought it off enough to live independently right to the end. Christa was known as Oma to the family, and Sassy Oma to the grandchildren, as she never hesitated to speak her mind.
Oma was a great person to talk to, as you always got a straight opinion. She loved to cook and bake for others and was a talented gardener. She never knew how much she will be missed.
Funeral Service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, March 23rd at Garden of Gethsemani Chapel, 15694 32nd Ave, Surrey BC. Reception to follow.
