March 20, 1931 - May 10, 2022
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Charlotte Vivian Sharpe (Jackson). Born in Regina Sask. On March 20/1931. Passing in Chilliwack on May 10/2022. Vivian was predeceased by her husband of 55 years Allen, her brothers Edgar and Delmar Jackson.
She is survived by her sister Doreen, brother Hartly, children Robin, Louise & Kirby (Atsuko). Grand children David, Lisa, Nick & Yoshi and great grandson Torin along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Vivian left Saskatchewan in the 1950's making her way west where she met her husband Allen; raising their family in Surrey and then retiring in Rosedale, 30 years ago.
Vivian was a kind, loving and caring person who loved gardening, nature and travelling. Making friends all over the world on their adventures with many coming for visits or sending letters and cards; she always felt blessed with the wonderful people she met and knew in her lifetime.
Vivian volunteered with the Brownies and Girl Guides and belonged to the Valley Jeep Club, Chilliwack Camera Club, Dogwood Canoe Club, New West Hiking Club and the Valley Outdoor Association.
We know she's off to meet Allen for another adventure. A Celebration of Vivian's life will be held at the family's home in Rosedale on July 23rd, from 1 pm - 6 pm.
