WOLTERSDORFF; Charlie
Charlie Woltersdorff passed away August 11, 2016 at Chilliwack General Hospital. Charlie sustained a fractured hip while working at his nursery on July 15, 2016 and was admitted to the hospital. He did succumb to complications from his hip fracture. Charlie leaves behind his 3 daughters, Jane Garner (Tim), Sonja Comerford (Gerry), and Lisa Abel (Terry), and his eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Joy in 1993. Charlie worked hard all his life and was proud of his accomplishments. He enjoyed working in the nursery, motorcycle trips, morning coffee at Safeway and meeting up with his regular coffee buddies. He was a social guy and made friends wherever he travelled. We will always remember his strong work ethic, friendly nature, and smiling face. He made his daughters promise to have some "good cake" at his Celebration of Life and invite his friends to commemorate his accomplishments. Thank you to Dr. Bartel and staff at Chilliwack General Hospital for your care and kindess to our father. A Celebration of his Life will be held October 15th from 1-4pm at the Coast Hotel in Chilliwack. We invite all who knew Charlie to join us
and share a memory or two.
