THOMSON, Charles Neill


Charlie passed away suddenly, but peacefully, December 6, 2016 at the young age of 67. He was born in Chilliwack, BC, June 19, 1949. He was an incredibly active man, involved in youth sports, plowing, the Chilliwack exhibition, and everything related to the dairy industry. Charlie leaves behind his wife Lorraine of 45 years, his children: Shane, Blair (Carla), and Clark (Bev),as well as his mud rats; Layla, Taylor, Hayden, Kendell and Chase. He is also survived by his sisters; Margaret (Don) Northgraves, and Marion (Allan) Rendall. Charlie leaves behind his brothers-in-law Ernie Adams, and Doug Adams, and sisters-in-law Sharron Adams, Gloria Adams, and Wendy Dobell, as well as many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by parents George & Nellie Thomson, and Alic & Irene Adams, brother Gordon Thomson, and brother-in-law Floyd Adams. His involvement in the dairy industry has enabled him to connect with many people, and make precious long lasting friendships. A Celebration of Life tea will be held Saturday, December 17th, 2016. Doors open at noon, tea will be served from 1:00 - 3:00 pm, at the Evergreen Hall, 9291 Corbould St. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Aplastic Anemia and Myelodysplasia Association of Canada would be appreciated; 11181 Young St., Suite 321, Richmond Hill, ON, L4S 1L2.
