Mr. Charles Thomas Cartie of Agassiz, BC passed away suddenly on May 8, 2009 at the age of 80 years.
Left to honour his memory are his daughters: Linda (Terry) Mernickle of Merritt, BC, Yvonne (Joe) Fitzgerald of Logan Lake, BC; and sons: Loyd (Karen) Cartie of U.S.A and Harold (Debbie) Cartie of Merritt, BC. Also left to cherish his memory are his brother Jerry Cartie (Eddy) of Vernon, BC; brother-in-law, Ronald (Shirley) Schmaltz of Alberta; sisters-in-law: Rose Labeau (Fred) of Alberta, Lena (Don) Rude of Alberta, many nieces, nephews, 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren as well as many devoted and long time friends.
Cremation, as requested by Charles. There will be an open house to Celebrate Charles’s life from 12:00 noon until 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at the Cartie residence in Agassiz. Tributes to begin at 1:00 pm. Please bring your stories to share.
