Charles Herbert Robinson

January 8, 1932 - August 7, 2017

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Charles Herbert Robinson “Herbie” on August 7, 2017. Herb spent many of his working years in the Port Hardy Island Copper Mine. He drove heavy equipment and later became the union representative for the workers of the mine. At 55 he semi-retired and became the groundskeeper for the Rainbow Estates. He took great pride in keeping the grounds looking beautiful & taken care of. Herb enjoyed bowling and playing cards. He was a big country music fan and of course a sports fan as well. He loved to watch the BC Lions and the Canucks…or knuckleheads as he liked to call them. His favourite places to go were walking along the rotary trail and feeding the ducks at Sardis Park. Herb was a gentleman and always willing to lend a hand. His beautiful smile will never be forgotten. He will be lovingly remembered by his sweetheart Helen.
