Ceile Margaret Hart (nee MacEachern) was born October 14, 1935 in the hamlet of Cumberland, Ont., near Ottawa; the only daughter of Malcolm and Celia MacEachern (nee Fahey).
Ceile passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2003 in the Chilliwack General Hospital. She was a loving mother, a kind, generous, selfless person with a heart so full of love that it could no longer support her body. She was an avid quilting enthusiast and created many lovely and unique quilts for family and friends. Ceile also loved to garden and often decorated her home with exquisite floral arrangements. She worked for many years with the Public Service of Canada in Ottawa before retiring and moving to Chilliwack about 10 years ago.
Cremation will be at Henderson’s in Chilliwack.
A reception to celebrate her life will be held on February 28, 2003 at 2 p.m. in the Tea Room at Henderson’s Funeral Home.
She is survived by her husband Ken Hart; her children, Barry (Denise) Edwards, Brian (Lynda) Edwards, Sandra (Dave) Archibald, Judy (Marc) Tessier, and Karen Edwards; step-children, Howard (Darlene) Hart, Leslie (John) Buckland-Nicks, Bruce (Jennie) Hart, Trevor (Sheila) Hart; and brothers, Robert (Grace) MacEachern, Donald (Donna) MacEachern, and Malcolm ‘Mick’ (Zoe) MacEachern. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, Krista, Scott, Adam, Bryan, Darcy, Zachary, Evelyn, Rebecca, Amy, Michael, Dylan, Amanda, and Michael; one great-grandchild, Haley; and numerous nephews and nieces. She will sadly be missed by all.
