Carrie Frank

July 10, 1949 - June 15, 2024

It's with sadness that we announce that Carrie Frank of Chilliwack, B.C., passed away on June 15, 2024, in Chilliwack Hospital surrounded by loved ones.

Carrie was born in Vancouver on July 10, 1949, to Fred and Ida Pedersen and lived all her life in BC.

She enjoyed reading and sharing favourite books with others. Carrie was very creative and gifted many people with beautiful handmade Christmas and birthday cards each year.

Carrie worked for the Provincial Land Registry, and it was while travelling by bus from her west end apartment to work in New Westminster that she met and married the love of her life - Kevin Frank, They were wed on July 8th, 2000.

Kevin suffered from many health issues and passed away in 2021 leaving a huge hole in Carrie's life. Family and friends helped her through the hard times, but her own health began to deteriorate.

Carrie is survived by her brother Brian Pedersen (Eileen), brothers-in-law Brian Frank, Ron Nash, Gordon Hoglund (Eleanor), and sister-in-law Deb Antrobus. Also left to mourn are nieces Cheryl, Nikii, Marnie, Shannon and Katelyn; nephews Kevin, Douglas, Andrew and Kadden; several great-nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.

Carrie will be laid to rest beside her beloved Kevin on July 23, 2024, at 1:00 pm in the Valley View Cemetery located at 14644 72nd Avenue, Surrey, BC. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
