It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carol Ann Law who passed away unexpectedly at her home in Chilliwack on February 15, 2019.
Carol is survived by her nephew, Richard (Sharon) EVANS, and nieces Debra (Chris) SPOULER and Linda (Greg) DESILETS, and many great and great great nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by her parents John & Alma PERSSON, her sister and brother-in-law, Inez & Charles EVANS and her nephew Ronald EVANS.
Carol was born in Vancouver but took great pride in her Swedish heritage. Her mother and father were both born in Sweden so Carol had a number of relatives in Sweden whom she kept in touch with over the years. She would spend hours at her computer on Ancestry.com researching her family tree, she followed it back as far as the 16th Century. She often laughed about being part of the Vikings.
Part of Carol's career was the Correctional Service Canada in Agassiz. She lived nearby at Lake Erroch until after her retirement when she moved to Chilliwack. While in Chilliwack she volunteered for several organizations in the Upper Fraser Valley and will be fondly remembered for her kind and gentle manner and for her tireless commitment to all of them.
She will be missed by many.
Carol will be cremated and interred with her parents in Burnaby. No service by request.
