PADOVANI, Carla. Apr. 13, 1936 – Oct. 15, 2013. Carla passed away peacefully on Oct 15, 2013. She will be remembered with love by her son, Andre, daughter-in-law, Michan, and grandchildren, Alena and Zef Padovani. Carla came to Canada from Italy, in 1972. She became a Canadian citizen, and fully immersed herself and son, into the Canadian culture and English language. After moving to Chilliwack in 1974, Carla became an employee of the Chilliwack General Hospital and retired after 20 years of dedicated service. Carla's retirement allowed her to enjoy writing short stories, working with math probabilities, and reading history books and classic works.
