Caril Leon Salt passed away peacefully at the age of 81 on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Shuswap Lake General Hospital, Salmon Arm. Caril will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 61 years, Ken; sons, Steve (Susan Holden) of Toronto, ON, and Tim (Gloria) of Sooke, BC; grandchildren, Lexi, Trevor and Victoria; brothers, Jim and Tracy Edwards and one sister, Anna Sandberg. She was predeceased by her brothers, Wilf and Phillip Edwards.
Caril was born on May 19, 1939 in Chilliwack, BC. She married Ken in 1959 and they have resided in Blind Bay since 1980. She had been a very active bowler and was involved with the Youth bowling and the Golden Agers bowling. She also was an active member of the Nifty Niners golfers at Shuswap Lake Estates for many years. Her love of her family, friends, sports teams (Blue Jays and Canucks) and sense of humour will be carried forward by those who knew and loved her.
A celebration of life will be planned for sometime in the future when it is safe to do so.
