Cameron James (Cam) Buchanan

In Loving memory of Cameron James Cam Buchanan.
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cameron (Cam) James Buchanan. Beloved Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Uncle and Great-Uncle. He was 48 years of age.
Throughout his long struggle with diabetes he continued to be brave and courageous until the end. Cam was born in North Vancouver, and moved to Chilliwack in the late 70's. Cam met the love of his life Patti (Martens) and married July 13, 1991. Cam and Patti were married for 26 years and raised 3 wonderful boys together. Cam was a dedicated family man and was always willing to lend a helping had to anyone, no matter what the task was.
He will be lovingly remembered as a Jack-of-all trades, whether it be the family mechanic, carpenter, or mover. He was an avid soccer dad and enjoyed watching his sons play. When given the chance he would talk your ear off. His smile and laughter will be deeply missed.
Cam will be lovingly remembered by his Wife; Patti, Sons; Derek, Brent (Justine) and Brad. Mother Mary-Jean, Brother; Bruce, nephew; Brendan, niece; Amber and Brother; Randy, niece; Sierra, nephew; Ryan, and Sister, Melanie,and The Berard Family in Alberta with a large extended family.
Also, Mother-in-Law; Debbie, Father-in-Law, Harvey (Marg), Sister-in-Law; Lorri (Ron), niece; Jennifer, Great-niece; Lily, niece; Miranda, Brother-in-Law; Wayne (Venessa), and nieces and nephews, Sarah-Lynn, Rebekah, Matthew, Andrea, Mara, and Adam. Best Friends; Kevin, Tim and Dale plus many more great friends.
Cam was predeceased by his Father Charles Jr. (1981), Grandparents, Charles Sr. & Phyllis (1982, 1985), Rosario & Lucienne Berard (1964, 2012), John Haycock (2010), Uncle Andre (1970) and Great Aunt Loretta (Auntie) 2002.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 28th @ Greendale MB Church - 6550 Sumas Prairie Road, Chilliwack, BC.
Viewing at 1 pm and Memorial Service at 2 pm, Internment; Vedder View Garden Cemetery - 44675 Watson Road, Chilliwack, BC; thereafter.
