It is with deep regret to announce the sudden passing of Bryan Woodcock. Bryan passed away on December tenth in the Abbotsford Regional Hospital at the age of 57. He was born on September 4th, 1951 in Vancouver, B.C.

Bryan was the devoted son of Robert and Antonia and brother to Peggy Kerr (Patricia Jo-Ann Woodcock). He was originally from Port Coquitlam. Bryan lived in the Chilliwack and Agassiz area for nearly 30 years.

Bryan loved his pets and leaves behind his beloved dog Baby. He enjoyed yard work and using his many tools and power tools. He loved fishing and being in the outdoors and always said he wanted to live on a small farm. Bryan had a great sense of humour and always enjoyed leaving his friends and support staff laughing at his comments.

He was a unique person who left his mark on those who knew him. Bryan fondly remembered the good memories of being with his parents on their farm. He nursed his mother in her later years during her illness. Bryan sometimes spoke of wanting to someday reunite with his deceased parents.

Bryan will be remembered with great fondness by his caregiver, Brian Barlow, the many support staff at Chilliwack Society for Community Living and Community Living British Columbia.

We would like to thank the nursing staff, Dr. Lewis and Dr. Fry for the care they provided Bryan during his stay at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital.

Memorial donations may be made to our local SPCA in lieu of flowers.

A tea will be held in memory of Bryan at 4345 Wilson Rd., Chilliwack, B.C. on January 9th, 2009 at 2:00 pm. Inquiries can be made at 604.393.3212.
