Brandon Richard Johnson

February 5, 1992 - August 28, 2022
Brandon was born in Surrey, British Columbia on February 5th, 1992. He was a very high energy, adventurous kid. He grew up in Chilliwack B.C, where he started his first job on the local "Toops Dairy Farm." He spent many years working with the Toops, cleaning cattle stalls and milking cows. He even moved out on his own into one of the Toops heritage houses.
In the evening and weekends, you could find Brandon with his buddies down at one of the local Tim Hortons, hanging out and showing off their cars or taking their trucks down to the river to have some fun.
When he was little, he loved to join his family on long hauling trips across the states. This was where his love of tractor trailers started off. He started practicing on these big rigs at the age of 13.
Brandon had a dream of one day owning his very own white Peterbilt. He moved out to Red Deer, Alberta for a year where he achieved his class 1 at the age of 20. He then made his dream come true and bought his very own white Peterbilt. His love for long hauling was very dear to his heart. So much so that he had 2 tattoos on his chest. On one side he had his dads Peterbilt and on the other side was his white Peterbilt. Brandon always saw his trucking career as a fun way of life and it was his to enjoy, his 2 slogans were - "20 to Life "and "Just for Fun"
He didn't have many days off in a year, but he enjoyed being out on the road and lived life to the best he could. He would be fully content with a day off on the side of a desert highway, shining all his rims and filming his how-to tutorials and videos showing all his adventures to his friends and family. He always had to have the cleanest, shiniest, "full of chrome" truck out there. He would spend so much time stopping at the wash bays on his long hauling runs just to make sure he was never caught driving a dirty truck.
Brandon was a very free spirited, loveable, funny, spontaneous guy that knew how to have fun and have no fears. He would make friends so easily, with his infectious laugh that filled the room, and he could tell the best stories.
He had a caring, kind heart, and when he gave you a hug you could feel it came straight from his loving heart.
He leaves behind his Father (Jack Johnson), Mother (Carrie Johnson) Sister (Angelina Johnson), Many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Grandparents and very many friends. He will be missed by so many.
To make sure more of his friends outside the mountain passes can travel and attend safely, we will wait through the Winter/ Spring and have a celebration of life on June 29th, 2023, at Chilliwack Camp River Hall. (More Details to come closer to the date)
A private burial at Hillcrest Cemetery in Chilliwack will follow on June 30th, 2023
