Borge Johannes Olsen
November 23, 1921 - October 9, 2017
Passed away peacefully at Heritage Village on October 9th. Borge was predeceased by his wife Phyllis in 1998, his stepdaughter Brenda Newby and stepson Bruce Newby.
He is survived by his stepdaughter Marita Lewis, stepson Max Newby (Gail) and stepdaughter Jill Newby as well as Bruce's widow Deborah.
Borge is fondly remembered by his grandchildren and great grandchildren and his many relatives in Denmark and Sweden.
Borge was a longtime resident of Columbia Valley and an avid horseman. He started the Chilliwack Vaulting Club many years ago and was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Horse Council of BC in 2015.

He received excellent care from the staff at each facility.
No service by request. A family gathering will be held in his memory in November.
