September 24, 1942 - August 12, 2020
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bob Shaw of Chilliwack, BC, at the Cascade Hospice Center after battling a short battle with lung cancer. Bob was born on September 24, 1942 in North Vancouver. He lived most of his life in Chilliwack.
Bob worked many years in the bank, in his later years, he worked for Chilliwack Taxi. Bob was an avid baseball fan. His favourite baseball team was the Toronto Blue Jays.
Bob left behind his loving wife Irene Shaw; children, daughter, Dawn Van der Ende (husband Joep and 2 children), son, Glenn Shaw (wife Nicole and 2 children), daughter ,Heidi Bailey (husband Mark and 2 children), son, Dave Neufeld (wife Sarah and 2 children), brother, Garry Shaw (wife Lorrie) and sister, Joan Carey. As well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
A small graveside service was held for his close family members. Bob will be missed by many.
