Beverly Edwards (nee Davies)

July 3, 1948 - October 3, 2024

Beverly Edwards was born in Lacombe, Alberta, on July 3, 1948.

She spent her early childhood in Wetaskiwin before her family relocated to Chilliwack, British Columbia, in 1956, where she completed her schooling and planted deep roots in the community.

Beverly passed away peacefully on October 3, 2024, after a courageous five-year battle with dementia, surrounded by her loved ones. She was a beloved mother, sister, and friend, known for her kindness, generosity, and vibrant spirit.

A longtime resident of Chilliwack, Beverly was well-known and loved by many. As a lab technician, she earned the trust and affection of the community with her friendly and caring nature, helping countless people during her career.

Outside of work, she found joy in her garden, tap dancing with the Happy Tappers, and hosting gatherings with family and friends. Her infectious laughter and warm hospitality left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Beverly is survived by her son, Stephen, and his wife, Elise, as well as her brother, Wayne and many nieces and nephews, and a circle of cherished friends. Her legacy of love, compassion, and dedication to others will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.

She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family, friends, and community.

Beverly's service will be held on November 17th at the Chilliwack Curling Club from 1pm to 4pm.
