February 19, 1931 - July 8, 2021
Our dear Mom was more than ready to say goodbye to this world, and she now resides with Jesus. What a beautiful hope we have!
Mom was born February 19, 1931, in Chilliwack, BC, the youngest of 12 children. Mom always said she had a wonderful childhood and loved playing with her dolls on the screened porch of their Camp River home.
She was a wonderful mother and a beautiful homemaker and wife to our dear Dad, Bob. They were married for 65 years.
Mom lived all her life in Chilliwack but moved to Creston, B.C. with the persuasion from her daughter and husband, Connie and Floyd, in 2019.
Mom was an avid gardener, cook, seamstress, knitter, volunteer, lover of animals, especially her many wiener dogs she had through the years, and a keeper of time. Anything we ever wanted to know about our family could be found in her daily journals or in her many meticulously kept photo albums.
Mom was predeceased by her youngest son, Jim (1994), and our dear Dad (2013).
She is survived by Mike (Alice) Campbell Chilliwack, Colleen (Ken) Ziegler Coldstream B.C., and Connie (Floyd) Yewchan Creston B.C., also grandchildren and great grandchildren and two brothers, Hugh and Jim.
