Betty Evelyn Rolls - Mother passed away peacefully at Heritage Village in Sardis, B.C. on November 12th, 2017.
Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba Betty moved to Chilliwack at the age of 12 then spent the duration of her life in Chilliwack B.C.
She is survived by her husband Stanley Rolls, married for 67 years. They have three daughters, Brenda Hall, (son-in-law Leonard Hall) Patty Rolls, Kim Lemna -(son-in-law Mark Lemna) 5 grand children and 6 great grandchildren.
Mother lived a wonderful life.....She worked for 30 years at Safeway in Chilliwack. Enjoyed sewing and her flowers...Had a love for photography and travel, joined the Chilliwack Camera Club where she won many awards and entered globally...she donated her time to educate students at schools through her slides and photographs of her many travel destinations. Also contributed her photo's to Travel Agent Companies and won the position to be in the FVCU annual calendar many times..
Mother had such a love for animals, nature (four seasons) and music...
Her celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, Nov 29th at 11:30 am at Henderson's Funeral Home (Tea Room).
In lieu of flowers, donations will be greatly appreciated to the B.C. Children's Hospital Foundation.
