Betha ("Betty") Marie Buss (nee Krebs) died unexpectedly on Thursday 7 March 2018 in the Abbotsford Hospital.
Born in 1936, Betty moved from Germany to Canada when she was 21 years old. After graduating from the University of Calgary with a degree in social work, Betty volunteered with the Seven Steps Society and worked as a probation officer before joining Correctional Service Canada as a parole officer.
She retired to Chilliwack BC in 2006 to pursue her love of gardening and walking.
She is survived by three loving daughters: Karin, Susan and Doris Buss, her nephew, Mathias Wurth, her dear friend, Colin Harte and many treasured friends at Edenbank.
A celebration of Betty's life will be held at Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave., in Chilliwack on Friday 16 March, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Reception to follow at Eden Bank Clubhouse, 7001 Eden Dr., Chilliwack.
