With much love and sadness, we announce the passing of Beryl Twine following a brief illness. She is survived by son Andrew, and daughter Sarah (Shannon), and predeceased in 1990 by her husband Patrick.
Beryl was born in Forest Row, Sussex in 1929 and resided in East Grinstead before emigrating to Canada with her young family in 1972 and settling in Chilliwack, BC.
Beryl started her career in Barclay's Bank in East Grinstead at 16 years old and retired from the TD-Canada Trust Chilliwack in 1994 with many fond memories of the staff she worked with there.
She was an avid gardener and managed a daily walk whenever the weather was fine enough. Until she was 85 she could be found out on the local tennis courts playing doubles with her group of "tennis girls" with whom she enjoyed friendship, lunches and many laughs.
Beryl will be dearly remembered by her children, sister (Sylvia), brother (Richard) and their families. She will be missed by her great friend, Yvonne and by her McNaught Rd neighbours. A gin and tonic with friends on the deck was always one of her greatest pleasures..

A celebration of life will be held at a later date due to the current pandemic restrictions
