Bertha Lowen was born August 30, 1915 in Giroux, Manitoba to John and Agnes Lowen. Bertha was the fifth of eleven children. Bertha passed away peacefully into the arms of her loving savior on October 1, 2019 at the age of 104. She was preceded on death by all her siblings: Kathryn, Gordon, Irvin, Helen, Anne, Ben, Lottie, Evalina, Bill, and Irene.Â
Our deepest gratitude goes to her care givers: Michelle Cook (great niece), Laura and Leo Van Santen, Bill and Jean Neudorf, and Julia Botherston.Â
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, October 17, 2019 at the Chilliwack Alliance Church, 8700 Young Rd, Chilliwack, BC V2P 4V6. A tea reception will follow from 3-4:30.
