Passed away peacefully at age 87 on June 15, 2012.
Bertha was born in Woodstock, Ontario on January 9,1925.
She was predeceased by her husband Thomas, and daughter Joan. She will be dearly missed by her daughters Gailene (Ken), Nancy (Larry) and her sons Craig (Penny), Doug (Barb) and John (Leslie). Bertha will be missed by her 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Bertha loved playing bridge, and was seen on many a curling rink with her husband Tom in Edmonton ,Alberta. Her greatest passion was the game of golf; Windermere in Edmonton, and the Royal Colwood in Victoria, and later years at Cultus Lake. She will be missed by all that knew her.
At Bertha’s request no service will be held. Charitable donations in her name can be sent to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
