Bertha Hendrika Hofs passed away peacefully on December 28th, 2011 at Chilliwack, BC at the age of 94. She was born in Winterswijk, Holland in 1917 and immigrated to Edmonton, AB in 1951. She moved to Chilliwack in 1959 and farmed with her husband Bernard Hofs. Bertha enjoyed gardening, sewing and travel during her retirement years. She was a member of the Chilliwack United Church.
Bertha will be lovingly remembered by her children Charles (Monica) and Allan; grandchildren Jayda, Elyse, Douglas, and Nicole. She is predeceased by her husband, Bernardus Theodorus Hofs.
The family would like to thank all the nursing staff at the Bradley Centre for her excellent care over the past 4 years.
