Bill passed away Sunday surrounded by his family after a long agonizing fight with dementia. He will be missed by his wife Darina, daughter Janet (Trevor), son William (Roberta) and grandchildren Trenton and Jordan.
Bill immigrated to Canada from Yugoslavia on Dec 8, 1960. He started a new life in Ontario with a spirit to succeed and was rewarded as a successful entrepreneur. In 1980, Bill moved his family west to Hope, BC and after retirement, settled in Sardis, BC. Bill had a passion for soccer throughout his entire life and dedicated much of his retirement years to refereeing and watching games.
Bill's family thanks all family and friends that supported Bill during his final years of life. Bill will be interred at Vedder View Gardens Cemetery in Sardis, next to his mother, during a private family ceremony.
