Barbara Ruth Dixon

Barbara Ruth Dixon passed away peacefully in Chilliwack, BC on February 13, 2023 at age 83.
Barbara spent her early life in Prince Albert Saskatchewan, where she graduated from school and worked as a teletype operator.
She met Thomas Dixon, and said "I do" to this man she would love forever. The couple made a home in Moose Jaw, where three daughters were born.
A move to Chilliwack followed at age 33, where Barbara lived until her passing. She worked at Envision Credit Union (the classy "beehive hair lady"), travelled, camped extensively, and shared time, love and healing hugs with her ever- expanding family and friends.
She lived a deep, embodied Christian faith, praying for and encouraging countless people whose lives she significantly touched.
Barbara is survived by her husband Thomas, brother Jack Shiells, daughters Jennifer Epp (Mark), Lorrie Dekoff (Lorne), and Alison Vermeer (Gary), seven grandchildren, and nine (soon ten) great grandchildren.
The celebration of Barbara's life will be held on March 11, 2023 @1:30 pm at City Life Church.
