In Loving Memory
Barbara was born July 7, 1933 in Calgary, Alberta and passed away suddenly April 6, 2007 at the age of 73.
A long-time Westbank, B.C. resident, Barbara was predeceased by her father George Hubbert in 1987 and husband Al Scheidl in 1991.
Lovingly remembered by daughters Barbara (Les) Weiss of Kelowna, B.C., Kathy (John) Wishlow of Cultus Lake, B.C., and son, Allen (Debbie) Scheidl of Airdrie, Alberta, grandchildren Kendal Weiss (fiancée Simon Shaw) Kasie (Greg) McCaw, Kory Weiss (fiancée Dana Ankerman), Greg (Ashley) Wishlow, Hayley Wishlow, Bradley Scheidl and great-grandaughter Dylan McCaw, along with many extended family members and friends.
Mom was always proud to be an Albertan, and attended the Calgary Stampede faithfully. In 1996 she rode in the Kamloops Cattle Drive.
Mom will be remembered for her good sense of humour and her upbeat outlook on life. She took great pride in her family and always made the effort to attend her grandchildren’s events.
Her family would like to take this opportunity to thank all of her wonderful friends that were such an important part of her life. Your friendship meant a lot to her and brought her much happiness and good times. You were all so caring and helpful and always there for her in her times of need. You will forever be in our hearts.
