Barbara Ellen Reeves passed away on Monday, March 5, 2007 at Chilliwack at the age of 97 years. She was born Feb. 24, 1910 in Pullman Washington, U.S.A.
Barbara is survived by her sons, Larry(Lorraine) of Coquitlam, B.C. and Lorne(Gwen) of St. Albert, Alberta, Russel(Betty) of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta; Donald(Marina) of Sherwood Park, Alberta; daughter, Barbara(Vaughn) of Brenton, of Chilliwack, B.C. 14 grandchildren, 1 step grandson, 16 great grandchildren; 1 honorary great grandson, 1 great great grandchild as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Clyde; her parents, George and Lenna Muir, brothers, Edgar, Harry, Melvin, Homer(victims of 1918 flu epidemic) and only sister, Benita (deceased in Melbourne, Australia.)
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 10 at 11am at St. Thomas Anglican Church, Chilliwack, B.C. Graveside services at a later date in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, reverend Jack Sovereign officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Lillian and Jack Schenkel of Chilliwack, Jessie and Horst Nelle, of Maple Ridge and Mrs. Susan Whiting, of St. Thomas church, her former Shepherd.
