1924-2021 ~ Our Dad passed away peacefully February 23rd at the Bradley Centre with family by his side at the age of 96. Dad was born in Bigger, Saskatchewan, he was the youngest of four children.
In the early thirties the family moved to Chilliwack, then to Ryder Lake where Dad went to school. He married in 1943 to Audrey Peterson and shortly afterwards joined the army. He was sent overseas and was in Europe till the end of the war. After the war, he farmed on Fairfield Island.
In 1961 his wife Audrey passed away. In 1964 he married Alice. In 2007 he and Alice moved into the Lynnwood Retirement home and remained there till just before his passing.
He will be sadly missed by his children, Dean (Casey), Carol (Gerry), Darrell (Terry), Debbie (Merv), and son Dale. Stepchildren Gladys, Ron (Heather), Bev, Carol (Ron) and many grand, great grand and great-great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his step-daughter Linda, first wife Audrey and in 2010 his second wife Alice.
We would like to thank all the staff at the Lynnwood, Chilliwack hospital, Bradley Centre and especially his Home Care girls for their wonderful care through the years.
No funeral as per his request.
