Mr. Arthur (Art) Harold Page late of Chilliwack then Abbotsford, BC went to be with his Lord and Saviour on December 17, 2012 at the age of 84.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Peggy Lee Page and their daughter Tara (Kevin) Meyer and 2 grandchildren, children from a previous marriage, Ron (Joan) Page, Bob (Deb) Page, Karen (Dave) Pflug, Bill (Francine) Page, 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his son Gordon Page.

Art was born September 9, 1928 in Regina, Saskatchewan and moved to BC at the age of 10. He lived in Surrey, BC for many years. His passion for fishing brought him to the Sardis area where he never passed up a good morning of fishing or a weekend garage sale. He worked in sales for many years and had a joy for making Burl clocks, tables and other wooden crafts. He also enjoyed crafting fishing rods and was proud of his handy work.

Art served the Lord faithfully and for many years was eager to share the gospel and had a gift of praying for the sick.

Thank you to the staff at Menno Hospital for the compassion and care shown to Art in his final hours.

A Memorial will take place on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 2:00 pm in First Ave Christian Assembly located at 46510 First Ave, Chilliwack, BC with Pastor Jay McAllister officiating.

Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Fraser Valley Salmon Society.

Beyond the gate our loved one finds happiness and rest: And there is comfort in the thought. That a loving God knows best.
