Travel was a life-long passion, leading to extensive trips within the U.S and Canada, as well as the more distant lands of Europe and New Zealand. Art also found pleasure working with community service organizations such as Meals on Wheels. His dry sense of humor and thoughtful perspectives were enjoyed by many who knew him. In 2001, Art and Mary moved to Walla Walla, WA. Reminiscent of mid-Western towns they had known so many years before, this become his final home.
