Armand was born July 7, 1930 and passed away April 25, 2013. He was 82 years young.

The sudden passing of our eldest brother took us by surprise, now leaving 10 remaining brothers and sisters in our immediate family: Solange Popp, Rene Gauthier, Yvette Boruch, Edward Gauthier, Florence Curtis, Melvin Gauthier, Eugene Gauthier, Robert Gauthier, Ken Gauthier and Phillip Gauthier.

He was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Jeanne Gauthier and one brother, Jerry Gauthier. We now come to a chapter in our family when time seems too fast for all of us as age ever-so-quickly encroaches upon us.

Armand leaves behind his wife, Estelle Gauthier (Ramsey), and a countless number of nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews on both sides of the family.

Armand’s loves were music (playing his mandolin), many hobbies and crafts, gardening, love for nature and the simple things in life. All of these gave him an appreciation for life well worth living.

A long-time resident of Chilliwack, he will be missed by many. May God be with him on the rest of his journey and carry him back to those pastures of old.

Mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 2:00 pm at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Mary Street, Chilliwack. Internment at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
