September 8, 1922 - August 26, 2021
Passed away at Chilliwack General Hospital following a brief illness 2 weeks short of his 99th birthday.
Born and raised in Chilliwack, Archie had a 45 year career working at the Fraser Mills Sawmill on the north bank of the Fraser River.
He took great pride living on his own and maintaining his yard up until taking ill.
Predeceased by his father William (Bill) Ellis and mother Elizabeth (Queen). As the youngest in the family he was also predeceased by sister Norah and brothers Henry, Gilbert and Teddy plus 2 infant siblings. Survived by nephews Bill & Jack and nieces Beryl, Pamela & Susan.
The family would like to thank all the staff on 3 North at the Chilliwack General Hospital for the care and attention he received during his 2 month stay.
A Graveside family service will be held at a later date at Chilliwack Cemeteries.
