Dec. 12 1912 – June 24 2008
Annie Pall passed away at the age of 95 after many years of suffering from osteoporosis and osteoarthritis.
We honour the life of a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Ann will be lovingly remembered by her son Ivan (Georgina) Pall, daughter Sonia (Alvin) Brooks, granddaughter Carmel (Ken) Kulak; and her brothers Steve (Alice) Bahrey, Joe (Josie) Bahrey; and her sisters Mary Romaniuk, Ellen Stock, Tona Greene, and numerous nieces and nephews who she held dear to her heart.
Ann was predeceased by her husband William (Bill) in 1987 and her brothers John and Bill Bahrey, and sisters Caroline Ratzay and Rose Harasen.
Ann was born in Wroxton, Saskatchewan on December 12, 1912, the fourth of ten children (6 girls and 4 boys). She married William (Bill) Pall in 1937 and their early married years were spent in Northern British Columbia. In 1949, Ann and Bill moved to the Fraser Valley and resided in Rosedale from 1949 to 1966, and Chilliwack from 1966 to 2008. Ann’s love was working in her garden and flower beds. She was an excellent cook, baker and canner, and this was enjoyed and appreciated by all who visited her. Ann was always happy when family and friends were around as she loved to serve others.
Thank you is extended to all the staff at Heritage Village Care Facility who were a daily part of Ann’s care and life for the past four years.
A Service of Celebration followed by a tea was held at Henderson’s Funeral Home, 45901 Victoria Avenue Chilliwack, on Thursday, July 3rd, 2008 at 2:00 p.m.
