Feb. 24, 1947-Mar. 14, 2010

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Wife.

Annie, beloved wife of Wilson Webber, passed away after a courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer at the age of 63.

Annie is predeceased by her father August, mother Alvina and brother Peter Schwarz. Survived and lovingly remembered by her husband Wilson Webber, son Rory Anderson (Cheryl McCallan) and daughter Shelley Anderson (Steve Sillett), her five grandchildren Kyle & Julie Anderson, Chad, Ryan and Samuel Anderson. Annie’s brothers Albert (Loretta) Schwarz , Alex (Susan) Schwarz, Alvin Schwarz and sister-in-law Marilyn Schwarz, all of Lethbridge, Alberta, her sisters Olga (Frank) Ress of Lethbridge, and Zena (Gil) Maggs of Port Coquitlam, BC. Annie will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws Mel & Marina Webber and Sharon and George Uzelac.

Along with her family Annie immigrated from Germany to Southern Alberta in 1951. In 1971 Annie left Southern Alberta and moved her young family to Vancouver BC. In 1973 Annie met Wilson Webber and lived happily for the past 37 years.

Annie loved spending time with both her children and all of her grandchildren; she loved adventures like riding the Oregon coast on the back of a motorcycle with her gang of brothers and nephews. She also enjoyed travelling to Vegas and Washington State, always looking for that slot machine that would pay out big.

Annie devoted 25 years working for the downtown YMCA where she made many friends, all of them knowing that she had a big heart and easy going nature ... you would never meet a person who worked harder than Annie Webber.

On Sat., March 20, 2010 at 10:00 am, a celebration of Annie’s life will be held at the Evergreen Hall, 9291 Corbould Street, Chilliwack, BC .

Interment to follow at the Vedder View Gardens Cemetery located at 44675 Watson Road, Chilliwack, BC.

Lunch will follow back at the Evergreen Hall.

Special thanks to Dr. Bull and all of the caring staff at the Chilliwack Cascades Hospice.
