Annette Sims (nee Werboweski) passed away February 21, 2006 at Chilliwack, B.C. Annette was born on November 25, 1920 at Fort Pelly, Saskatchewan.
Annette had many varied interests and hobbies. She avidly sewed, knitted, crocheted, and oil painted. Curling was one of her favorite sports. Annette was an excellent gardener. She was a member of the Rebecca Lodge, Order of the Eastern Star, Legion Auxiliary and United Church Women, all in Kamsack. She moved to Chilliwack in 1992.
Annette was predeceased by her husband Mike, 1971.
Annette will be missed by her children, Don, of Smithers, BC; Bob (wife Kim, children Morgan and Connor), West Vancouver, and Barbara (husband Brad Strukoff, children Graeme and Stefanie) of Chilliwack.
Annette will be remembered by all who knew her as a gentle, sweet lady with a twinkle in her eye, a song in her heart, and a desire to learn and foster personal growth and achievement.
The funeral will take place Saturday, March 4, 2006 at 11:00 am from Westminster United Church, with internment at Riverview Cemetery, Kamsack, Saskatchewan.
Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Arthritis and Rheumatism Society or the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation.
