Anne Marie Huebert passed away peacefully on April 30, 2010 at Waverly Seniors Village. She was born to Herbert and Marie Fast in Marienburg, West Preussen, Germany on September 25, 1936. Annemarie was the first of four children, mother of two, grandmother of five, and great-grandmother of two.
She will be greatly missed by all. Annemarie is predeceased by her two sisters, Ingelore Fast, June 24, 1940 – April 30, 1945 and Liselotte Fast, September 7, 1941 – April 1, 1945. She is survived by her daughters Margit Swicheniuk and Helga Huebert, also, her brother Hans-Gerhard Fast and their families. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Waverly
Seniors Village who took such great care of Annemarie. A funeral service with reception will be held at The Church of the Nazarene: 9340 Windsor St., Chilliwack on May 7, 12 noon, followed by a grave side ceremony at the Vedder View Cemetery, 44675 Watson Road, Chilliwack. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Annemarie’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice.
