Anne JENNER

Anne Jenner in her 89th year, passed away on Feb. 9, 2005 in Abbotsford at the Bevan Lodge.

Anne was born in Regina, Sask. on July 12, 1916. In 1933 she married Ameen "King" Ganam who became a famous Canadian Country fiddler. In the early 1940's she moved to Vancouver, B.C. During the Second World War, she worked at Bogardess Wilson glass factory in Vancouver and stayed with them for 13 years.

In 1956 Anne married Leo Jenner. While Leo worked for Bekins, Anne took on the role of homemaker. She loved making beaded craft work, knitting, crocheting, playing card games and watching her favourite "soaps" on tv. In 1998 Anne moved to a townhouse in Chilliwack, B.C. Here she had great friends and supportive neighbours at the Wells Brooke townhouse complex.

Anne is survived by her son Ken and wife Angie and many loving relatives in the Portland, Oregon area and Florida.

A memorial for Anne will be held at a later date.
