June 22, 1932 - April 7, 2022
Anne Burrows , of Chilliwack, passed April 7th just before midnight. Anne was 89. She was born on June 22, 1932 in Wembly, Alberta. Her parents were Abraham and Sara Funk. Anne had many siblings. John, Erna, Abe, Lydia, Vera and a twin, Margaret.
She also had four more siblings that sadly didn't make it across from the old country.
Anne started her life in Greendale and would eventually end up in Vancouver. She also had lived in Nanton, Calgary, Drayton Valley and Chilliwack. She had three children, Gary, Tim and Cheryl. With nine grandkids and four great grandchildren.
Anyone that had the privilege of meeting "GG" (or the "Geeg" as she was known by her family) knew just how special she was! She would always make sure you were laughing and knew the love of God.
She will be missed incredibly, but we all know she is celebrating and dancing in heaven with her parents, siblings, and loved ones!
There will be a celebration of life held for her friends and family in June.
