Anna Helen Kulahyn

“To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord”.
Anna Helen Kulahyn went to her heavenly home on Friday, July 28, 2017. For the past few months of her life, her heart’s desire was “Lord, take me home”. In the early morning hours of July 28, her prayer was answered. She was born in Kuban Province in Ukraine and she was predeceased by her first husband and infant son, as well as her parents and all of her siblings, due to the Communist takeover of her homeland. Left to mourn her with deep grief is her husband of 63 years, Aleksander Kulahyn, as well as many friends who cherished her beyond words. She was a woman of devout faith and an unerring ability to build relationships in all aspects of life. Full of integrity and determination, she lived her life with courage and perseverance through many difficult circumstances. Helen’s Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Henderson’s Funeral Home, 45901 Victoria Avenue, Chilliwack. Burial and tea to follow.
