Ann Marie Rose
July 30, 1954 - October 17, 2017
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Nana, sister and friend, Ann Rose.
She passed away peacefully on October 17, 2017 at Chilliwack General Hospital.
Ann was born in Toronto Ontario in 1954 and moved to Chilliwack in 1993. She was a valued member of the Chilliwack Elks Lodge #48 and worked at Fraser Cheam Home Support for over 20 years. Some of her recent adventures included tandem skydiving, exploring the amazon and the iconic hilltop ruins of Machu Picchu in Peru, as well as a road trip across eastern Canada.
Ann is predeceased by her husband Al Rose, and parents Victor and Mary.
She is survived by her children Tina (Chris) and Derek; her grandchildren Chelsea, Brittany, and Thomas; her sisters Melony and Jerene (Alan); her brothers Larry and Bill (Cindy), and their families.
She enjoyed reading, golfing and most recently discovered her creative side in painting. She also loved getting together with family and friends, sharing laughs, stories and a glass of wine.
Her smile, warmth, love, and sense of humour will be greatly missed. A life with love is a life that's been lived.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in continuation of Ann's sponsorship to the Plan International Canada 'Because I Am A Girl' project, or to the charity of your choice.
No service by request. A family gathering was held in her memory.
