Andrew Rempel was born on August 28, 1911 in Waldheim, Saskatchewan. The second eldest of four sons.
Survived by second wife, Mary; his five children, Marg (Jim) Hunter of Oliver, Don (Allie) Remple of Quesnel, Henry (Linda) Remple of Merritt, Pat (Wes) Kornelson of Pritchard, and Julie (Bob) Watson of Rouseau, Dominica West Indies; daughter-in-law, Vera Remple; stepchildren Betty (Marvin) Fretz of Moorefield ON, Ken (Sheila) Stobbe of Abbotsford, Cathy (Steve) Krauchi of Prince George, Lynda (Allan) Mantler of Mt. Lehman, and Lorraine Stobbe of Vancouver; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by his first wife, Ruth; son, Bill; and 2 brothers.
A Celebration of Life Service for Andrew Rempel will be held Monday, March 3, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. from Yarrow United Mennonite Church 4336 Eckert Rd. Yarrow BC; Paster Ron Braun officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mennonite Central Committee would be greatly appreciated.
